  • Fridays at 10Am:

    Sisters in spirit

Sisters in Spirit small group is taking a break during August. Their next meeting will be Friday, September 10 in the parlor.

If interested, please contact Cindy Blackburn or Martha Johnson.

  • october 21, 2 PM: primetimers zoom event

Join us on October 21st at 2 PM via ZOOM and learn from one who has accomplished publishing his story, Crossing Creeks, Bridging Rivers and Laying Cornerstones by our very own Ron Crutcher. He’ll recap his book, give us pointers to enable us to create our own legacies and answer our questions.

  • We’ll start off with a family-friendly Trunk or Treat at 5 PM. All are invited to park your vehicle in the preschool area, decorate your trunk, and bring a bag of candy/trinkets/treats to distribute. Children (and their grown-ups!) are invited to wear a costume. Come as early as you need to be ready for trunks open at 5. All the children will gather under the preschool portico to go as a group. Trunks will be judged for the MOST CREATIVE, MOST ATTENTION TO DETAIL, & CUTEST COSTUMES.

Then we’ll move on to dinner, where we’ll have an award-winning BBQ feast prepared by our own Eric England! (Photo is Eric's team from the recent Great American BBQ Festival in Franklin.) The menu will include a pork or chicken sandwich, cornbread casserole, baked beans, coleslaw, and berry cobbler and/or hot fudge pudding.

We’ll end the evening with an Outdoor Movie, Coco, at sundown. Bring chairs and blankets. This event is open to ALL ages!

  • Saturdays at 7:30 AM:
    Men's Bible Study

We're currently studying the Letters of Paul in the order in which they were written.  We're about to end Second Corinthians.  (As Donald Trump says "2 Corinthians"). We're slowly working our way through William Barclay's 17 volume commentaries on the New Testament.  Join us in the Parlor.

  • Join us on November 6th for a Day of Service with our FPC family! Choose to volunteer in the morning, afternoon, or all day with us-- and make sure to come early for the Boy Scout Breakfast. Click here for more information and a schedule of the day.
