  • Christopher Joiner began serving at First Presbyterian in June of 2004. He is married to Kim, and has a son (Samuel Caleb) and daughter (Chandler Belle). He is a graduate of Bethel University (Bachelor of Arts) and Vanderbilt University Divinity School (Master of Divinity), and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

  • Anne Keener

    Pastoral AssISTANT

    Anne Keener has been a member of First Presbyterian since 1997 and joined the staff in November of 2013. She is married to Jim and has two children, Julie and Brian. Anne graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She has been involved in a variety of ministries at First Presbyterian over the years including serving as a Stephen Leader for almost 10 years.

  • MICHAEL SNODDY

    DIRECTOR OF MUSIC

    Michael P. Snoddy is currently the Director of Music and Organist for First Presbyterian Church of Franklin, Tennessee and is a recipient of the Master of Music Degree in organ performance from the University of North Texas. He has performed numerous recitals and recorded a CD entitled Immortal, Invisible, a portion of which was featured on a nation-wide broadcast of American Public Media’s Pipedreams. Mr. Snoddy is also a winner in the twenty-sixth annual William C. (Bill) Hall pipe organ competition, a state-wide event sponsored by First Presbyterian Church, San Antonio, Texas.

  • KIM JOINER

    DIRECTOR OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

    Kim Joiner began as Director of Children's Ministries in 2005 and moved to Director of Christian Educatoin in 2015. Kim was raised in Arkansas and came to Tennessee to attend Bethel University in McKenzie, where she studied Christian Education. She graduated from Bethel with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is married to Chris and has two children, Samuel Caleb and Chandler Belle.

  • Janelle brinker

    Director of Youth ministries

    Janelle Brinker began working as Director of Youth Ministries in July of 2015. Janelle and her husband Jared are originally from Michigan. Janelle attended a small Liberal Arts College in Alma, Michigan and majored in Religious Studies. Aside from her work at FPC, Janelle is currently enrolled as a full-time masters student in the Center for Youth Ministry Training and is in her first year of the three year program.

  • CHERI LINDSLEY

    PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR

    Cheri Lindsley has over 30 years experience in Early Childhood Education. Among other responsibilities, she has extensive experience as a classroom teacher and program director. Cheri came to First Presbyterian in 2013 from Tennessee State University where she served as a Coordinator for the Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance (TECTA) and was an Anchor for the Tennessee Star Quality Program. Cheri is an adjunct instructor at Nashville State Community College. She is a frequent presenter at state, regional and national early childhood conferences. She also serves as President of the Tennessee Association for the Education of Young Children and is the facilitator for the Tennessee Reggio Study Group. Cheri is an avid life-long learner passionate about providing best experiences for young children through a constructivist model to early childhood education.

    Glenda Andrews began serving at First Presbyterian Church in June, 1993. She is married and has a daughter (Crystal) and son (David, Jr.) and four grandchildren. She attended Union Theological Seminary for Church Business Administration, 2000-2001.

    Rebecca R. Garner (Becky) is an administrative assistant.  She joined the staff at First Presbyterian Church in February of 2007.  She is a Nashville native and is married to Michael Garner; they have two sons and a daughter.

    CLERK OF SESSION

    Jack Busby has been a member of First Presbyterian Church since 1973. Having been elected an elder several times, he has served on various committees including performing the duties as Clerk of Session.  He is a graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree.  After a successful career in sales and marketing, he retired with thirty seven years from 3M Company.  Jack is married to Carol and they have three daughters and nine grandchildren.
