Saturday Guest Leader: Carol Tate
The Rev. Dr. Carol Tate has served in a variety of roles and ministries across an accomplished career. She has served churches large and small, running the gamut from a founding New Church Development pastor to pastor of a large adult ministries program to solo pastor and head of staff in various interim ministry positions. Many of you will remember her as the pastor of Emmanuel church on Highway 96. Above all, she has cared for and engaged with a wide range of people in a variety of contexts. An important question for her is: in both church and culture, are we in a defining and potentially creative moment? Will our conversations with one another be substantive, honest, and lead to equitable, healing, and creative ways forward? She is now retired and totally enamored with her granddaughters, loves to walk, read, play Bach, and travel.
