We hear the word mental health more often these days which is a good thing, but what does that term really mean? According to www.mentalhealth.gov, “Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.”
The pandemic has caused many to feel more isolated which certainly affects our mental health well-being. We encourage you to utilize the links listed below to learn more about mental health and the vast resources available. We also want to remind you of our Stephen Ministry which is here for you in addition to the care of our pastors. God calls us to be in community, and this faith community is here to offer support.
Stephen Ministry is a one on one Christian friend to journey with you through a difficult time. To learn more about our FPC Stephen Ministry, visit our church website or contact Stephen Leader Judi Arnold (firstname.lastname@example.org).
