ReOpen Task Force Update

9.1.2021: We are called in our faith to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. The Task Force believes that one of the best ways we can fulfill this calling in this day is to strongly recommend, encourage, and advise masking for all persons over the age of two in all indoor spaces at FPC Franklin, regardless of vaccination status. Persons can remove masks to eat or drink. We believe this is a necessary expression of our love and care for one another in community, which is a hallmark of our faith and a key responsibility of those who lead.

We will continue to offer in-person worship at 8:30 and 11:00. The 8:30 service will have no congregational singing and the 11:00 will. All current plans for Sunday school, small groups, Wednesday Night Live, and choirs are still in place.

Again, the Task Force strongly recommends, encourages, and advises all persons over the age of two to mask in all indoor spaces at FPC. We also continue to urge all those who are eligible to be vaccinated to speak with your healthcare provider about that decision. Vaccination remains the clearest pathway out of this pandemic.

Vaccine Information

We continue to give thanks for all who are part of the vaccine distribution. We encourage everyone to sign up in as many places as possible to receive the vaccine. Some members have received their vaccine through Williamson County, some through Davidson County, and others, who are Vanderbilt patients, through myhealthatvanderbilt.com.
