Rise Against Hunger is a group that provides shelf stable meals to people facing food insecurity globally. FPC Franklin will be hosting a Rise Against Hunger event on Saturday, September 12, from 9 – 11 AM. We will work together to combine rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and a packet of 18 vitamins and minerals into life-changing meal packages. 80 volunteers are needed to create 15,000 meals. This will be lots of fun with jobs for everyone regardless of age or physical abilities.
