• Christopher Joiner began serving at First Presbyterian in June of 2004. He is married to Kim, and has a son (Samuel Caleb) and daughter (Chandler Belle). He is a graduate of Bethel University (Bachelor of Arts) and Vanderbilt University Divinity School (Master of Divinity). Chris completed a Doctor of Ministry degree at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in May 2019.

  • Mary Sellers Shaw


    Mary Sellers Shaw began serving at First Presbyterian in August 2018 .  Mary Sellers is originally from Birmingham, Alabama, and she studied Communication Studies and Civic Engagement at the University of Alabama.  After graduating, Mary Sellers worked at Nashville's Room In The Inn through the PC(USA) Young Adult Volunteer program, where she helped coordinate their workforce development efforts.  Mary Sellers completed her Masters of Divinity in 2018 from Vanderbilt Divinity School and was ordained in March 2019.

  • Anne Keener


    Anne Keener has been on our staff since November 2013 and a member of First Presbyterian since 1997.  She completed her Certificate in Ministry through Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in November 2018, and was installed as a Commissioned Pastor by the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee in February 2019.  She is married to Jim and has two children, Julie and Brian. Anne graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She has been involved in a variety of ministries at First Presbyterian over the years including serving as a Stephen Leader for 10 years.


    DIRECTOR OF MUSIC & organist

    Michael P. Snoddy currently serves as the Director of Music and Organist for First Presbyterian Church of Franklin, Tennessee and is a recipient of the Master of Music Degree in organ performance from the University of North Texas. Mr. Snoddy is also an undergraduate winner in the twenty-sixth annual William C. (Bill) Hall pipe organ competition, a state-wide event sponsored by First Presbyterian Church, San Antonio, Texas. A performer of numerous recitals, he has appeared at both Hull City Hall, Hull, England, and First Congregational Church in the city of Los Angeles. His CD entitled Immortal, Invisible, recorded at Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas, was featured on a nation-wide broadcast of American Public Media’s Pipedreams, a program dedicated to the music of the King of Instruments. Most recently he earned the Presbyterian Association of Musicians professional certification as a Certified Church Musician (CCM). In addition to a career as a church musician and organist, Mr. Snoddy has worked as a professional pipe organ builder and continues to assist the historic Canadian firm of Casavant Frères Limitée in project development.



    Kim Joiner began as Director of Children's Ministries in 2005 and moved to Director of Christian Education in 2015. Kim was raised in Arkansas and came to Tennessee to attend Bethel University in McKenzie, where she studied Christian Education. She graduated from Bethel with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is married to Chris and has two children, Samuel Caleb and Chandler Belle. Kim, aka Mimi, is the proud grandmother to Caleb and Ryoko's daughter Kotomi.  A good Sabbath day for Kim includes reading, running with friends, practicing yoga, and date night with Chris.



    Cheri Lindsley has been on our staff since July 1, 2013 and has over 30 years experience in Early Childhood Education. Among other responsibilities, she has extensive experience as a classroom teacher and program director. Cheri came from Tennessee State University where she served as a Coordinator for the Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance (TECTA) and was an Anchor for the Tennessee Star Quality Program. Cheri is an adjunct instructor at Nashville State Community College. She is a frequent presenter at state, regional and national early childhood conferences. She also serves as President of the Tennessee Association for the Education of Young Children and is the facilitator for the Tennessee Reggio Study Group. Cheri is an avid life-long learner passionate about providing best experiences for young children through a constructivist model to early childhood education.



    Glenda Andrews began serving at First Presbyterian Church June 21, 1993. She is married and has a daughter (Crystal) and son (David, Jr.) and six grandchildren. She attended Union Theological Seminary for Church Business Administration, 2000-2001.

  • Sara Chang

    Communications Director

    Sara Chang joined the staff at FPC as Communications Director in 2019. She grew up in Franklin right down the street, graduated from MTSU, spent a few years in NYC, and now lives in Brentwood with her two sons, Dylan and Derek. She sings in a few choirs around town and leads Beer & Hymns Nashville a few times a year. Sara loves meeting new people, so come visit her, give her a good book recommendation, and if you bring her coffee, she'll be your best friend!



    J. R. has been on our staff since December 13, 1999 and has lived in Eagleville all of his life. He loves to work. He is the father of two children, Makeeda and Deanta and the grandfather of three, set of twins and a little girl.

    Kelly Oldham has been on our staff since 2008 and has been a member of the church since 1992.  She graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Elementary Education.  She is married to Robert.  They have four children and one grandchild.  She has served on the session and various committees at FPC.  Kelly began volunteering in the nursery when her children were young.

  • Sara Hinds


    Sara Hinds joined the church in 1968 when her family moved to Tennessee for her dad's job.  Graduated FHS in June 1974.  Graduated MTSU in May 1978 with degree in accounting.  Worked for public accounting firm Touche Ross from summer 1978 until early 1986.  Worked in corporate accounting until retiring in June 1994.  Became treasurer around end of 1998 or early 1999.  A member of Finance Committee, Administration Committee and Communion Cleanup.  She delivers for Meals on Wheels with FPC.  Married to Ron Hinds and has 6 dogs.  Likes to snow ski and take cruises.
