What a joyful Celebration of Service we had on
March 27! Hundreds of us gathered for worship,
food, and music as we celebrated all the ways we
give as a community. FPC members of all ages
then sorted 6,000 pounds of sweet potatoes with
the Society of St. Andrew, which were shared
with Chickasaw Senior Community, The Nashville
Food Project, OneGenAway, GraceWorks, and the
Bellevue Food Pantry.
From Congregational Care ministries that care for
our church community to Mission opportunities
near and far, FPC values caring for our neighbors.
If you haven’t had a chance yet, check out the
display in Wilson Hall of all the ways we give, as
well as the Kindness Stories that came from our
$5 Share the Love project!
Many thanks to all who made this day possible,
and especially to the Celebration team: Cathy
McCall, Hank McCall, Kelly Oldham, Emily Korab,
and Mary Sellers Shaw. As we continue to
celebrate our Glory to Glory campaign, “May the
whole earth be filled with God’s glory!”
