In our time together, we will look at some major theological themes that have been important for Presbyterians. This “romp” through Presbyterian theology will help us understand what Presbyterians believe and how theological understandings or doctrines help form a basis for Christian belief and living. Rev. Dr. Donald K. McKim is an Honorably Retired minister of the Presbyterian Church (USA). He has served as a pastor, seminary theology professor, and academic dean, as well as an editor for Westminster John Knox Press. Among his books are: Coffee with Calvin: Daily Devotions; Moments with Martin Luther: 95 Daily Devotions; Mornings with Bonhoeffer: 100 Reflections on the Christian Life; Presbyterian Questions, Presbyterian Answers; and Presbyterian Beliefs: A Brief Introduction. Dr. McKim is married to Rev. Dr. LindaJo H. McKim, and they live in Germantown. They have two sons and three grandchildren.
