Sam is a Franklin/Nashville native, as he attended Ravenwood High School and then Lipscomb University for his bachelor degree in Theology and Ministry with a Youth Ministry emphasis. Sam felt called into youth ministry early on in life, and he has served in a variety of denominational settings to pursue and hone that calling.
In 2022, he graduated from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary’s Center for Youth Ministry with his Master of Arts in Youth Ministry degree. While in the CYMT program, Sam served as Director of Youth Ministries in Lakeland, TN, and was delighted to find a home at FPC Franklin upon completion of the program.
