By the providence of God, we ascribe to the Reformed Tradition as expressed by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Our guiding documents are the Bible, the Book of Confessions, and the Book of Order of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  

  

Serving and growing in the knowledge of our faith has always been an important component of the Presbyterian Church. At FPC Franklin, our programs embrace all ages and offer varied approaches to study and growing as Christian disciples. Our prayer is that all who participate will find nurture, fellowship, challenge, and growth as we respond to God's grace together.

Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)

We are part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), with denominational offices in Louisville, Kentucky.

We are part of the Synod of Living Waters, which comprises 12 presbyteries formed from the Presbyterian Churches found in the four-state area of Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky, as well as parts of Arkansas and Missouri. 


We are part of the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee, which comprises of over 75 congregations.

 

Presbyterians trace their history to the 16th century and the Protestant Reformation. Our heritage, and much of what we believe, began with John Calvin (1509-1564), whose writings crystallized much of the Reformed thinking that came before him.

In life and in death we belong to God.

Through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
