Give To FPC Franklin

From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded. Luke 12: 48b

God’s gracious gifts are evident in so many aspects of our life together as a church.  We are a welcoming, inclusive and growing congregation, even in a time of transition as we search for a long-term pastor.  Ultimately, these blessings are not just for us or our church to enjoy but to share with each other and the world.  When we share our time, talents, finances and very selves with the church, we are entrusting (i.e. giving with confidence) God with all that we have, as God is the source of all good things.  When we give to the church, we are doing far more than sustaining an annual budget – we are proclaiming that God’s love is the ultimate authority in a world in desperate need of it; we are relinquishing part of our perceived control and influence in the world to the God in Whom we trust; and we are joining in God’s reconciling work in the world.
