Music and arts

Music & Worship Ministries are often some of the most vital in any congregation as they have the unique ability to challenge, excite, and inspire the people in extraordinary ways.  Additionally, they have a crucial role to play in the church’s overall vision and mission—to tell the story.

Such goals can be reached when it is engaging and exciting for the children, youth, and adults who participate.  These are also realized when all the participants, regardless of age, are bound together in the challenge and commitment for ministry, that together they know their work can truly change the world for the sake of the Gospel.

"Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing."

- Psalm 100

Community Arts

For centuries the church was the center of culture and commerce. It was here that artisans and musicians presented their best works, often in the form of teaching (morality) plays. Throughout the ages, a city’s most enduring arts have found their expression within the church. This tradition provides the inspiration and foundation for fostering the arts within the community of FPC Franklin.
