We invite you to sign up for a Spring Growth Group by scrolling to the bottom of this page. These groups create space for deeper connection with God and others through book discussion and community prayer. For this session we are offering in-person and Zoom options.
Groups will
- Meet for 1 hour on Zoom and 1 ½ hours in person each week
- Meet for 7 weeks beginning the week of February 27
- Read The Grace of Les Misérables by Matt Rawle
“In this study The
Grace of Les Misérables, author and pastor Matt Rawle dives into six ideals
found in the story—grace, justice, poverty, revolution, love, and hope—each
represented by a character in Hugo’s story. As these imperfect and relatable
characters interact, we can see how these ideals work together (perhaps even in
spite of each other) out in the world.”
Group Options:
Monday 7-8 PM Zoom
Tuesday 7-8 PM Zoom
Tuesday 8:15-9:15 PM Zoom
Wednesday 10-11 AM Zoom
Thursday 1-2:30 PM FPC Parlor
*If you would like to join a Growth Group but none of the options meet your needs, please contact Anne Keener. We will happily add a group if there is enough interest in another time.
Purchasing the book:
- Each participant is responsible for providing their own book
- Available in paperback through Amazon and Cokesbury among others
- Available on Kindle
Which group works best for you? Scroll down to sign up today. Registration is open until Sunday, February 20, but the quicker you sign up the easier it is for our planning purposes.
We encourage you to prayerfully consider participating in a group. If you want to learn more about the Growth Group experience, ask anyone pictured below or contact a member of the Growth Group Ministry Team.
